Quick answer
Choose the WWE Elite Legends Curt Hennig if you want a detailed wrestling legend with TrueFX and build-a-figure pieces. Pick the Mattel Creations KPop Demon Hunters Rumi if you prefer a popstar demon hunter with expressive faces and themed accessories.
Articulation and poseability
Both figures offer deluxe articulation, but they serve different display needs. The Curt Hennig figure is built for recreating signature wrestling moves, with enough joints to lock in a leg drop or a perfectplex. The Rumi figure has 21 points of articulation, which is generous for a stylized anime-inspired figure, and includes interchangeable hands and faces to switch between action poses and stage-ready looks.
Accessories and display value
The Curt Hennig figure comes with iconic accessories and a build-a-figure piece, making it a strong choice for collectors who want to complete a larger character. Rumi’s accessories lean into her KPop demon hunter theme: a kimbap roll, a ramyeon cup, and her Four Tiger Sword. These items add personality but may not appeal to everyone. If you value props that tell a story, Rumi wins; if you want to build a full figure over time, Curt Hennig is the better pick.
Detailing and finish
The Curt Hennig figure uses TrueFX detailing, which gives a realistic skin and fabric texture that wrestling fans expect. Rumi’s figure uses a more stylized, animated aesthetic that matches the KPop Demon Hunters film. Neither is better overall—it depends on whether you prefer realism or a vibrant, character-driven look.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Realism vs. stylized design: Curt Hennig uses TrueFX for a lifelike finish; Rumi uses an animated aesthetic. Choose based on the look you prefer on your shelf.
- Build-a-figure vs. themed accessories: Curt Hennig includes a build-a-figure piece for collectors aiming to complete a figure. Rumi comes with character-specific items like a sword and food props that enhance her story. If you don't plan to collect the full build-a-figure set, those pieces may feel incomplete.
- Articulation for wrestling vs. expressive posing: Both are well-articulated, but Curt Hennig is designed for wrestling moves, while Rumi's 21 joints and interchangeable parts support a wider range of expressive poses.
